New Innovations In Cell Phone Cameras
Here’s a first–a cell phone camera was used to beat a rape charge.
Sherri Ann Urbanek-Bach told the police that she had been raped by six St. John’s University basketball players. Fortunately for the accused, one of the players had the forethought to videotape the sex using his cell phone.
It turns out that the players had agreed to pay the woman $1,000 for sex, but refused to fulfill their contract after she held up her end of the bargain.
Now the 38-year-old Urbanek-Bach, who met the players at a local strip club shortly after their team had lost a game, is facing charges of prostitution, extortion, and filing false reports.
Meanwhile, the players face expulsion and additional punishment.
