This morning, when I read this post about the most embarassing fashion trends of the past 25 years, I found myself asking, “What about all the fashion atrocities from the 60s and 70s?”
Then I realized that 25 years ago was 1981. Damn I feel old.

If you are serious when you make references to your old man age, I’ve never met someone as self-conscious about it.
References to age are interesting.
Thinking about death makes me a better actor in the present, but I’m as mortal now as I will be when I’m 30, and as I will be when I’m 40.
My Grandma will say “I’m having a senior moment”. She’s 87. I understand when *she* says it, because it affects her ability to operate.
A teacher at my high school loved to portray himself as this old guy disconnected from teen culture, but of course he was the *most* in the know about teen culture.
