Why You Shouldn’t Care What People Think

Remember what you were doing 10 years ago? Remember all the things you did to impress others?

Seems pretty silly now, doesn’t it?

That’s how you’ll feel about your current concerns in 2020.

  1. Agreed.

I think you can even take it a step further, though:

"Remember what you were doing ten years ago? Kinda embarrassing right? Make decisions with a thought to the long term (ie where do I want to be in ten years) to avoid working against yourself."

  2. Joel Osteen says there are 5 minute problems, 5 month problems, and 5 year problems … the goal is to figure out in 5 seconds what is which and move forward. (not an exact quote and I think I even said it better myself just now)… anyway, someone cut you off in traffic, 5 minute problem … change your hair color to something you don't like, 5 month problem … diagnosed with Cancer … that could be a 5 year problem. No matter the problem though, you can handle it and time will keep on keeping on. It's best to see every problem as a 5 minute problem because that's about the extent of our attention spans anyhow. Even a 5 year problem can be broken down into 5 minute problems which mean nothing 10 minutes later.

Wow, this really is a good thought to ponder over. 🙂

    Thanks, Chris.
